In person sessions
Dress Code: Please wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement, as your practitioner may need to gently move your limbs during the session.
Initial Consultation: During your first visit, your practitioner will take a detailed case history, including information about any past accidents, injuries, surgeries, illnesses, and current medications. You’re also welcome to share any emotional traumas you've experienced, as these memories are often held within the body and can influence how you feel today. This information helps us understand your unique story and provide the most supportive care possible.
Treatment: After your initial consultation, you’ll be invited to stand, sit, or lie down for an assessment. You may be asked to perform a few gentle movements to help determine your body’s mobility and function. Throughout this process, your practitioner will communicate her observations, ensuring that you feel informed, comfortable, and ready to proceed with the treatment.
The first session typically lasts around 90 minutes, and you may feel tired afterward. We recommend setting aside some time to rest and integrate your experience and avoiding strenuous activities, such as workouts or sports, for at least 24 hours.
Online Sessions
Dress Code: Please feel free to wear whatever makes you most comfortable, though loose, comfortable clothing is recommended.
Props: Choose a quiet space with a comfortable chair and, if possible, a place to lie down, whether that’s on a mat on the floor or a spacious bed. Having room to move freely can support your experience.
Make sure that your setup allows us to hear each other clearly, so we can maintain a smooth and connected flow of communication throughout the session.
Session: We’ll start by discussing your history and your intention or focus for today’s session. From there, we’ll ease into a gentle sensing exercise to help you connect with your body in the present moment and notice what might be arising for you. From this place of awareness, the innate intelligence of your body will guide the session.
These sessions work on a deep level, so it’s beneficial to allow time afterward for continued processing and integration. The effects often unfold gradually, as your body continues to process the experience for as long as it needs. Everyone’s process is unique, so the timing will vary for each individual.
